This is one of the best places in the south mediterranean world. We have enjoyed - every day/ twice- the fantastic food and drinks, made and prepared by Dan and his great team.
Together with very nice and kind people, we have enjoyed every single minute.
And, one is sure: we will come back!!

Second stay at Danny's place - second stay in (food)heaven!
Danny and his team are great and will do anything that your stay will be unforgettable. You must ask Danny for "today's specials": fresh fish, lamb under the bell or his outstanding seafood "bouillabaisse" with homemade makkaroni.
The rooms are nice and clean and you will find everything you need for your stay.

For several years I am spending my summer holidays in the beautiful town Orebic, at Peljesac peninsula. Nice beaches, nice food, crystal clear see and the blue and sunny sky. On the top, in about 15' long boat trip, you are at the Korcula island, which I consider the Paradise on earth. Countless coves with small white pebbled beaches, turquoise sea with urchins, guaranteeing that the water is super clean. And the food!!! Last year, for the first time I found the Riva I restaurant, in the small village Prizba, delicately managed by the scef Denny. Diamond in the Korcula crown!!! The best see food I have ever tasted. So good that I am planing to revisit it next year. I am recommending it with all my heart.

Prvi put smo bili kod Denija pre dve godine. Uh, atmosfera, predjela, vino, divna terasa pored mora... Tad smo prvi put probali "poparu". Da, to sam i ja prvo pomislila. Ko jede poparu na moru? Ali ova popara se sastoji od ribe, skampa, kozica, jastoga, skoljki i domace testenine

Sve od sveze ribe, zacinjeno perfektno, porcije izdasne. Mmmmm...Nista lepse nismo davno probali!!! Ovog leta smo opet posetili Denijev restoran. I opet narucili poparu, mislila sam da ne moze bolje - ali nas je Deni opet prijatno iznenadio. Cista desetka, omazani tanjiri i osmeh koji ne mozes da skines slica! Za svaku preporuku, mi cemo sigurno opet doci.
Excellent resto! Demandez le plat "popara" - un plat extraordinaire, assaisoné parfaitement, des poissons et les fruits de mer frais, les pâtes faites maison. Expérience inoubliable! Vous allez y retourner - c'est garanti

If you are food fun and even if you're not, Riva 1 would not leave you without smile on your face. We all heading on our vacations to experience something unusual, something to talk about to our friends and family. Dinner at Riva 1 definitely belongs to those experiences. Not only culinary excellence of chef Danny but complete atmosphere, friendship, brings you smile on the face which gets bit reddish after second bottle of this beautiful mouth tingling local wine. We're definitely coming again! Keep your pots warm. And of course, thanks for those wonderful evenings at your restaurant.

Wir waren von 10.bis 27.Sept.2011 auf Korcula in Priscapac. Nach mehreren verschiedenen Restaurantbesuchen sind wir dann nur noch ins Riva 1 gegangen. Diese Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft vom Koch und Chef Danny sowie vom gesamten Personal waren einmalig. Man hat gemerkt, dass es hier nicht nur ums "Geld verdienen" geht, sondern dass der Koch sowie sein Team mit Leib und Seele in ihrer Arbeit aufgehen. Danny gibt einem kulinarische Tipps und empfiehlt Speisen, die nicht auf der Speisekarte stehen und vorab bestellt werden müssen. Das sollte man in jedem Fall ausprobieren! Es ist ein absolutes Geschmackserlebnis! Auch das Personal ist absolut aufmerksam, flott und immer freundlich. Wir werden in jedem Fall unseren nächsten Urlaub wieder auf der wunderschönen Insel Korcula verbringen. Und der regelmäßige Besuch im Restaurant Riva 1 wird mit absoluter Sicherheit dazugehören!! The restaurant is just AMAZING! Every dish is prepared with care, love and dedication. (not to be missed: the home specialty which needs to be ordered one day in avance) The quality, warm hospitality and atmosphere reflect professionalism and long experience in the sector which is up to best international standards. The location is wonderful, beach with crystal clear water is in walking distance...

Serdecznie polecam! Apartament dla 4 -5. osób wspaniały, wygodny, duży, nowocześnie urządzony - jak na zdjęciach. Największą jego zaletą jest jego duży taras z absolutnie fenomenalnym widokiem na zatokę. Na dole budynku restauracja. Wszystkim dowodzi przesympatyczny właściciel, świetnie mówiący po angielsku. Dla wszystkich tych, którzy chcą odpocząć od zgiełku chorwackich plaż - rewelacja, cisza i spokój nawet w sezonie. :!sun:

Cestujeme po Chorvatsku již několik let a tak jsme zabloudili i na Korčulu do malé vesničky Prizba, která se nachází na jihozápadní straně tohoto ostrova. Zde jsme objevili restaurant s ubytováním, který nás mile překvapil příjemným prostředím, velmi ochotným personálem včetně majitele "Dannyho". Přál bych všem zažít tak krásný pohled na moře se zapadajícím sluncem, dobrým jídlem a vínem jako nabízí právě Riva1.
